How Do I Get C++Builder Installed in RAD Studio 2007?
I had Architect 2006, and when 2007 first came out, only Delphi was available, so that was installed. I now need to update an old BCB5 project, and BCB5 won't run on Win7 64bit properly, so I need to update that. It was my understanding that since my upgrade was from Architect 2006, I'd be able to get BCB 2007 when it came out. I've downloaded the RAD Studio 2007 from the registered user download site and installed it, but there is no BCB in it, and it won't open a BCB5 project file. What step have I missed? Indy 10 installation on RAD Studio 2010 C++Builder
Hi, I'm stuck trying to install the latest dev snapshot to Rad Studio 2010 C++Builder. I've deleted all references to the old Indy installation and then opened IndySystem140.dpk, IndyCore140.dpk, IndyProtocols140.dpk. The problem is that while trying to compile IndyCore140 after succesfully compiling IndySystem140 it cannot find the reference to IndySystem and says 'Required package 'IndySystem140 not found'. I've tried everything but I cannot get any further.. I haven't found any instructions either apart from the ones on the Indy website. Kind rega..

Hello, On the same computer Windows 7 SP1, i have Oracle XE and Postgres 9.1 I installed the new Embarcadero C++ Builder XE6 Enterprise edition. I open a new VCL projet. On the right, i go to Data Explorer, i choose dbExpress >> Oracle >> Oracle connection. I set parameters (name, login, pwd). I check the connection. It works. OK, I just purchased a license and got a key. The web install process fails. I think the problem is my ISP. Now, back in Dec 2008 I downloaded an ISO file for the install about 2 Gigs and never used it really. If I use this ISO file, Create a DVD and do the install from there , will it effectively be a full licensed install. So far it looks identical (except maybe the program is 7 months old). I then removed it with Windows cleanup tool and removed all references in registry as well as all files on hard disk including the once in SysWOW64. Installing RAD Studio 2007 gets MS Installer error
I am moving to a new Vista 64 system so I am re-installing all of my versions of Delphi and BCB. All have installed successfully except BCB 2007. I can install my original Delphi 2007 DVD but if I try to install any updates or from my BCB 2007 DVD which includes updates 1 through 3, the install fails as soon as it gets to the point where the MS Installer is called, after which both Delphi and BCB 2007 are gone. I have tried all kinds of combinations and order of installing Delphi, BCB, and updates but it always boils down to anything that includes an update will bomb when the MS Installer..

Just purchased the special upgrade from Delphi XE2 to RAD Studio XE2. Is it possible to install C++Builder without disturbing my current Delphi installation, or will the installer remove everything (including all the connections to 3rd party tools) first, before installing anything? It was my understanding that since my upgrade was from Architect 2006, I'd be able to get BCB 2007 when it came out. I've downloaded the RAD Studio 2007 from the registered user download site and installed it, but there is no BCB in it, and it won't open a BCB5 project file. What step have I missed? Indy 10 installation on RAD Studio 2010 C++Builder
Hi, I'm stuck trying to install the latest dev snapshot to Rad Studio 2010 C++Builder. I've deleted all references to the old Indy installation and then opened IndySystem140.dpk, IndyCore140.dpk, IndyProtocols140.dpk. The problem is that while trying to compile IndyCore140 after succesfully compiling IndySystem140 it cannot find the reference to IndySystem and says 'Required package 'IndySystem140 not found'. I've tried everything but I cannot get any further.. I haven't found any instructions either apart from the ones on the Indy website. Kind rega..

Installing C++ Builder 2009 / Delphi
OK, I just purchased a license and got a key. The web install process fails. I think the problem is my ISP. Now, back in Dec 2008 I downloaded an ISO file for the install about 2 Gigs and never used it really. If I use this ISO file, Create a DVD and do the install from there , will it effectively be a full licensed install. So far it looks identical (except maybe the program is 7 months old). I had RAD Studio 2009 installed and unsuccesfully uninstalled it with an error message 2343. I then removed it with Windows cleanup tool and removed all references in registry as well as all files on hard disk including the once in SysWOW64. Installing RAD Studio 2007 gets MS Installer error
I am moving to a new Vista 64 system so I am re-installing all of my versions of Delphi and BCB. All have installed successfully except BCB 2007. I can install my original Delphi 2007 DVD but if I try to install any updates or from my BCB 2007 DVD which includes updates 1 through 3, the install fails as soon as it gets to the point where the MS Installer is called, after which both Delphi and BCB 2007 are gone.
